Inner city Bunnings sells again

The Brunswick site spreads 4045 square metres with three street frontages.

One of Brunswick’s biggest commercial investments, spreading just over an acre with three street frontages – 31 metres to busy Sydney Road – has sold for the second time in two years.

The property includes a two level office on Rosser Street.

The Commercial 1 zoned holding with 2400 sqm of improvements, including stores occupied by Bunnings and Australia Post, a small office facing Rosser St and 58 car parks, is speculated to be trading for about $12 million to a local investor.

The seller outlaid $13.25m in early 2023.

The property also traded in December, 2020, for $13.82m.

Savills’ James Latos brokered the last two deals (story continues below).

He was represented in the latest campaign with Julian Heatherich, Benson Zhou and Rick Silberman.

The agents marketed the development upside, able to accommodate a significant residential or office based mixed use tower.

This pocket of the suburb, walking distance to Brunswick station, is five kilometres north of Melbourne’s CBD.
