Major Industrial Leases Signed: Perth, Sydney, Melbourne
In Smithfield, in western Sydney, Swift Transport will pay a starting annual rent of $150,000 to occupy 3901 square metres of space at 12-14 Robert Street – just 300 metres from the Cumberland Highway.
In Melbourne, xtremehobby.com.au has leased 1000 square metres at 241 Ferntree Gully Road, in the south-east. The hobby retailer is paying a net starting rent of $128,000 to occupy the space, according to the AFR.
Xtremehobby.com.au plans to exhibit its remote controlled model aeroplanes and helicopters at the store, which is its second in Australia.
