Mainfreight leases Erskine Park warehouse from Charter Hall

Mainfreight has leased the 4610 square metre Erskine Park property for three years.

Mainfreight Distribution has leased another Sydney warehouse owned by Charter Hall – this time in Erskine Park.

The logistics group has committed to 34 Tyrone Place for three years.

The 4610 square metre facility contains a double storey A-grade office attached to a factory with four on-grade doors and sunken docks with levellers and 10 metre clearance.

There’s also 2650 sqm of container rated hardstand.

Freestanding, with separate car and truck access, the building can be driven around.

Erskine Park is 42 kilometres west of Sydney.

CBRE’s Tom Rourke, Moshe Greengarten, John Micallef and Cameron Grier represented Charter Hall (story continues below).

Charter Hall doubles down on Mainfreight, Erskine Park this year

Two years ago, the landlord paid investment groups Washington H Soul Patterson and URB Investments $71.16m for a 30,796 sqm warehouse tenanted to Mainfreight Distributions in Prestons, about 20 kms south of Erskine Park.

That asset, 55 Yurunga Street, was under construction following the pre-commitment.

It is now held by Charter Hall Prime Industrial Fund (CPIF) and Charter Hall Core Logistics Partnership.

Three months ago, again for CPIF, Charter Hall spent $115m on a modern distribution centre on 8.3 hectares at 40-66 Lockwood Road, Erskine Park.

Rented to office product supplier Winc for 12 years, that property traded on a 4.75pc yield.

The property includes four sunken docks with levellers (above) and two storey A-grade office (bottom).
