LOGOS secures efm to Altona

LOGOS Group has found an occupier for a 23,322 square metre facility it built speculatively.

efm Logistics Services will move into the Altona Logistics Estate warehouse mid-year.

JLL’s Matt Ellis and Matt Crofts were the agents.

The facility was completed last month.

LOGOS’ backers include Canada based institutional fund manager Ivanhoe Cambridge and Macquarie Capital.

Its portfolio contains assets in New South Wales, Queensland and Western Australia; part of $4.2 billion in equity commitments across 15 Australian ventures (story continues below).

In Melbourne, the landlord controls about 350,000 sqm of industrial lettable area.

It is also sitting on a 27 hectare development site earmarked for the Truganina Logistics Estate.

Since 2018, LOGOS has acquired the national distribution centres of Amart Furniture and Kmart – like Truganina, in the city’s west.

Last year, it expanded to India after previously investing in China, Indonesia and Singapore.
