Leoncelli joins Hamton to Develop Toorak University Site
Leoncelli, who played 146 games for Melbourne between 1996 and 2003, will oversee the redevelopment of the Deakin University Toorak campus into luxury homes and apartments. Prior to his appointment with Hamton, Leoncelli was a senior tax accountant with advisory firm Ernst & Young.
Hamton controversially paid around $30 million for Deakin University’s Toorak campus, in a deal finalised on Christmas Eve last year. The purchase included the Stonington mansion, which sold this week to interests associated with Robert Menzies.
