Knight Frank Poaches Mirvac Exec, Launches New Project Marketing Department
Tom spent seven years with Mirvac, managing the sales teams that marketed Waverley Park, Beacon Cove, Coast at The Sands Torquay, Abingdon at Canterbury, Tower 5 and River at Docklands.
“Project marketing is an area many clients have been asking us to move into for some time,” said Knight Frank managing director Paul Burns. “There’s currently a huge demand for expert project marketing services with many developers preferring to outsource, wanting to concentrate on their specialty – developing”.
“With the appointment of Tom, we can now add a new, complementary dimension to our business, one which assists sellers of development sites and buyers who want ‘coal face’ advice on what to build,” he said.
In 2006, Colliers International purchased Queensland-based PRD Nationwide in an attempt to boost its exposure to residential markets.
