Veteran television show host Kerri-Anne Kennerley has sold her Woollahra home for a speculated price of more than $22 million – a suburb record.

The c1870 dwelling, on Wellington Street cost the entertainer and her late husband, John, $2.49m in 1997.

On 892 square metres with a swimming pool, the Victorian – in a pocket known as the consular belt – contains a three car garage and self-contained studio off a laneway.

At one stage the property operated as the Waltons Guest House with each bedroom having a kitchenette.

The sale is understood to have been struck off-market with no agent.

Ms Kennerley, it is reported, plans to downsize (story continues below).

Woollahra’s previous record was set early last year when Atlassian’s Mike Cannon-Brooks paid $18.5m for the ex-German consul-general residence, on 2068 sqm in Trelawny St.

Prior to that the watermark was $16.5m – established in 2016 for Listowel on 2741 sqm in Edgecliff Road.

Mr and Ms Kennerley moved to Wellington St from a home on nearby Fletcher which they sold for $1.05m.
