With 13 nations qualified for the Olympic Games in Beijing this year, including Australia, five remaining places were decided at the regatta, with some countries expected to select their Olympic representatives from the race.
Australian teams starred in the show, finishing in the top 2 positions, taking the title from an Argentinean team which won last year.
