James Packer to Amalgamate, Redevelop Vaucluse Supersite

Last year, the businessman spent another $12.05 million acquiring two smaller homes on blocks beneath the prominent large home. These have both been demolished, allowing the land to be consolidated.

The Packer’s plan to replace the demolished homes with a 13-car garage, 23 metre pool, underground cinema, gym and staff quarters. A 2.4 metre high metal security gate will be developed behind two 1.7 metre metal vehicle entry gates.

It’s speculated the renovation will cost about $13 million. Construction is underway.
