Hub Australia, 1R commit to Industry Lanes

Industry Lanes is taking shape at the south east corner of Church and Shamrock streets.

Hub Australia has committed to 3000 square metres at a Richmond office being developed by Abacus Property Group and Salta Properties.

The Hub Australia tenancy includes a 200 sqm terrace.

The co-working space provider’s lease at 459-471 Church Street, known as Industry Lanes, is for an initial 12 years.

Its tenancy – the fourth and fifth floor – will include a concierge, café, business lounge and 200 sqm terrace.

Colliers’ Travis Myerscough and Rob Joyes with JLL’s Josh Tebb and Matt Brown-Greaves were the agents.

Hub Australia chief executive Brad Krauskopf said the inner-east Melbourne pocket, incorporating Cremorne (across the road) is the city’s equivalent to Silicon Valley.

“We believe appropriate workplace design helps drive creativity and productivity, plus caters to enterprising workforces with ever-increasing appetites for wellness and socially engaging areas,” he added (story continues below).
