The 104 hectare horse stud was once home to 1989 Melbourne Cup winner Tawriffic.
Via a previous owner, the property is also connected to billionaire businessman Robert Holmes à Court who is said to have maintained mares and stallions there.
Another horse, One More Honey, was sired there.
The holding at 565 Muskerry East Road includes three dwellings and stabling for 19 horses
Vendors Fiona and Phil Sloane can expect more than $900,000 from the sale, according to this item in realestate.com.au.
An adjoining 35.6 hectare parcel, with pasture, paddocks and a dam, is available for about $200,000.
