GSK lists part of HQ

GlaxoSmithKline is selling a chunk of land beside the prominent Boronia site held for years as its national headquarters.

The 7.32 hectare tract, Lot A, 1061 Mountain Highway, should trade for $7.5-$8 million.

It is expected to attract interest from developers which may subdivide and on-sell the land, or replace it with a business park investment.

The property has frontage to Colchester Road and Kalman Drive.

Jones Lang LaSalle’s David Butera and Andrew O’Connell are the agents.

GSK will continue to occupy a manufacturing plant next door.

It recently started moving staff to a new headquarters at inner east Abbotsford.
