Growthpoint has secured Australia and New Zealand’s largest direct response marketing company, Brand Developers, to a modern Altona office/warehouse.
The tenant has signed a 10 year initial lease for 9 Kimpton Way.
Since 2014, the building was occupied by Peter Stevens Group which recently relocated to nearby larger premises.
GormanKelly’s Nick Breheny and Francis Sbaglia with Knight Frank were the agents.
“The deal provided a pleasing outcome for all concerned with the owner…able to secure its income for the balance of the current lease term and hopefully beyond, with no downtime,” Mr Breheny said (story continues below).
“Our…office continues to see a high demand for warehouse space large and small throughout the western corridor from the CBD to Geelong and everything in between,” he added.
The Kimpton Way asset contains a 13,050 sqm warehouse, multiple recessed docks – five of which are undercover – and substantial hardstand.
There’s an additional 500 sqm office.
Altona is about 13 kilometres south west of Melbourne.
