Family office sells new Adelaide warehouse
Commonwealth government owned Outback Stores has bought an Adelaide distribution centre which hit the market in May for sale or lease.
The new, 8455 square metre office/warehouse at 93-111 Edinburgh Road, set it back $21 million ex-GST.
Moonah Tree Capital was the seller.
It paid $4.46m in 2023 for the 1.8ha site which made way for the facility, with 390 sqm of offices.
Sagle Constructions was the builder.
Cushman & Wakefield’s Hamish Crouch and Jay Nash with Leedwell’s Harry Treloar and Steve Smith were the agents.
Outback Stores manages retail outlets in remote Indigenous communities.
Direk is about 30 kilometres north of Adelaide’s CBD. It is about 18km north east of Port Adelaide.
