EG snaps up Leppington land

EG has acquired a low density housing site at Leppington.

The 2.05 hectare parcel, 22 Park Road, is understood to be costing around $7 million.

About 4500 square metres is allocated for public space and infrastructure.

The balance is expected to be subdivided into about 26 lots.

The site will be held by the new EG Leppington Property Trust.

Leppington is about 38 kilometres south west of the city.

The suburb is about 10km from the Western Sydney International (Nancy Bird Walton) Airport, which is under construction.

Last month the state government committed $1.15 billion to kick start a new Sydney CBD – Bradfield – near that infrastructure project.
