Education Based Owner Occupier Buys A’Beckett Street Office Building

The building had been occupied by a law firm until recently, and was sold with vacant possession in a Knight Frank campaign. It is intended the new owner will owner occupy the site.

The purchase continues a wave of education-based businesses buying and leasing office space in inner Melbourne.

Last month, education service provider Carrick Institute of Education leased 7,129 square metres of space – or the entire office area – of a brand new office development at 370 Docklands Drive in Docklands being developed by Austcorp and YarraCity.

Carrick also recently filled a 5,500 square metre Southbank office building at 25 Queensbridge Street, where it also leases naming rights.
