Dollarforce Liquidators to Reap $3.5 Million From Docklands Development Site

The failed group paid $2.8 million for the property in 2003, eventually obtaining a permit for a Peddle Thorp designed 23-level office building, which would offer views over the Yarra River to the CBD.

However, after the Australian Securities and Investments Commission appointed a liquidator for Dollarforce Group last month, the site at 81 Lorimer Street was put to the market, and will be auctioned next Thursday. The property is currently a building supplies outlet.

Lemon Baxon Baxter’s Chris Curtain is marketing the 3,535 square metre development site with DTZ’s Richard O’Callaghan and Russell Hannan.
