Developers trade Ice Zoo Sydney

Time & Place has finished in the black selling a Mascot showroom turned ice skating rink after seven years and an office redevelopment proposal.
The Melbourne developer led by Tim Price is banking $33 million for the 4047 square metre E3 Productivity Support zoned holding, 253 Coward Street, on the south east corner of Kent Road.
It paid $24.2m retaining the 1300 sqm single storey asset as an investment.
For years occupied by truck giant Hino, it was last November filled by Ice Zoo Sydney.
In 2020, Time & Place applied (and was later approved) to replace the block with an 11 level office over ground floor retail – all up with 16,287 sqm.
The incoming owner is an as-yet undisclosed builder with a national presence; the zoning allows for an alternative product (story continues below).
Colliers’ Michael Crombie and Trent Gallagher were the agents.
Mascot is about seven kilometres south of Sydney’s CBD.
Also today we are reporting Time & Place is buying part of the ex-Ford Broadmeadows Assembly Plant, in Melbourne’s Campbellfield, for an industrial park.
More to come.
