Dean Petrie leases showroom for X-Golf club

Also this month, Area 51 leased a property for its maiden ACT facility.

Dean Petrie has leased another Perth property for an X-Golf club.

X Golf operates from 33 facilities in Australia and New Zealand.

The membership-only sports entertainment venue business will open at 129 Russell Street, Morley – a 900 sqm tenancy – opposite Galleria Shopping Centre which is undergoing a major revamp.

With six simulators with patented ball retrieval, sensor and software technology, the end value of the facility is expected to circle $2 million.

It will be the 34th X-Golf in Australia and New Zealand.

X-Golf Morley will also contain a “19th Hole Lounge” with a full service bar and kitchen, overhead projectors for live sporting events and free use pool tables and dart boards.

“The scale of investment into the Galleria clearly shows that Morley is changing but entertainment options haven’t really kept pace with how people want to spend their time now,” Mr Petrie said (continues below).

“With tighter household budgets influencing discretionary spending, more people are opting for accessible, local entertainment experiences creating demand for year-round options that don’t require flights or full day commitments,” he added.

Morley is about 7.5 kilometres north east of Perth’s CBD.

X-Golf also operates in the state at Balcatta, Bunbury, Joondalup, Rockingham, Nedlands and Wanneroo.

Also today we are reporting an experiential retail tenant in the leisure sector, Area 51, leased a warehouse for its maiden ACT facility.
