Council secures university to woolstore converted office
The City of South Sydney has secured the University of Notre Dame Australia to the ground, first and second level of the Wilcox Mofflin building, at Ultimo (pictured, top).

At 4000 square metres, the office lease deal is one of the largest in the city fringe this year.
The school also operates in Sydney at Chippendale and Darlinghurst.
Its main campuses are in Western Australia, at Broome and Fremantle.
Another university lease deal
The deal for the ex-woolstore at 46-52 Mountain Street, Ultimo, comes three weeks since we reported Monash University leased a St Kilda Road, Melbourne, office, for the School of Public Health and Preventative Medicine, which will relocate from nearby.
In August, Central Queensland University rented the entire, long-time Bendigo Bank headquarters, at Melbourne’s Docklands, for an initial 10 years – 8300 sqm.

Meanwhile in Adelaide, Adelaide University – backed by the University of Adelaide and the University of South Australia – leased 9500 sqm in the CBD for an initial five years.
Colliers’ Tom Buxton and Jake Jamieson are marketing 46-52 Mountain St – a woolstore converted office.
“This milestone…reflects renewed confidence within the education sector, despite evolving government immigration policy settings,” they said.
CBRE’s Fergus Bowen, Brendan Shipp and Chris Retallick introduced the tenant.
