Costa family list $6.1m Geelong home

The daughter of Geelong businessman Frank Costa is selling a Newtown home 18-months after a major renovation.

Suzanne Cleary and her husband, Tim, are asking $6.1 million for 1-3 Whyte Court – a price which if achieved, would set a region record.

One of the mansion’s 24 rooms is configured with a central bar.

The vendor acquired the property in 2011, according to this news.com.au item.

Mr Costa and his wife Shirley, had been trying to sell since 2008 – soon after relocating to an Edgewater Apartments penthouse overlooking Corio Bay in central Geelong.

On a 3203 square metre elevated block with aspect to Queens Park, the former Costa family home is configured with a tennis court, swimming pool and several garden zones – the front yard with a gazebo.

Over two storeys it contains five bedrooms, four bathrooms, a gym, sauna, study, double lock up garage and two observatories.

One room, larger than the informal family area, is fit as a bar.
