Construction giant leases base with half-basketball court

Chadwick Investments owns 1/74-94 Centre Road (outlined).

Alfasi Group has leased a new headquarters with a half-basketball court, in Melbourne’s south east Hallam.

The company, which maintains a machinery hire division, on top of its development and investment arm, will rent warehouse 1, 74-94 Centre Road, from Chadwick Investments.

With 4020 square metres, nearly a third (1201 sqm) is configured as offices.

Hallam is 34 kilometres south east of Melbourne’s CBD.

Alfasi Hire is presently based at Carrum Downs, about 15km south of Hallam.

Alfasi Group meanwhile is headquartered at Cremorne, in the city’s inner east (story continues below).

Chadwick leases trio of warehouses

Covering about 34 per cent of the 1.18ha plot, part of warehouse 1, 74-94 Centre Rd, will be configured with a half basketball court.

Colliers’ Luke Lowden and Sam Hibbins represented Chadwick which completed three standalone assets on the block last year.

The others were secured by JLG Industries and Excel Pacific Industries.
