Chinese Government Rumoured to be Behind $7 Million Toorak Mansion Buy

It’s been speculated the home could become anything from a new specialist school, through to the new Consulate General of the People’s Republic of China – but that sensitivities regarding a potential change in use may be delaying settlement.

Kay & Burton selling agents Alex Schiavo and Michael Gibson confirmed negotiations were underway with a potential purchaser, but would not comment on any part of the campaign including buyer, price or when a deal is likely to be finalised.
