Cancer Council sells inner-city lodge

Cancer Council SA sold Kent Town’s Flinders Lodge (marked) in May.

Cancer Council SA has sold the second of two redundant inner-Adelaide accommodation complexes listed in March.

In the latest deal, Barwon Investment Partners is paying a speculated price of just over $10 million for the Greenhill Lodge, at 204 Greenhill Road, Eastwood (pictured, top).

Over two storeys, the asset contains 55 self contained guest suites.

The 5026 square metre Urban Corridor zoned site can make way for a six level building.

The disposal comes six months since Cancer Council SA banked $12.25m from the 66-room Flinders Lodge at 27 Dequetteville Terrace, Kent Town (story continues below).

It and Greenhill Lodge were listed with a 14 month leaseback; MRS Property was the adviser while Colliers’ Alistair Mackie, Justin Hazell and Jordon Schmidt were the agents.

The vendor will tip sale proceeds into a $30.3m headquarters and 120-room accommodation asset, under construction at 202 Greenhill Rd, Eastwood.
