Bunnings, Dats pre-commit to Brisbane business park
Charter Hall has pre-committed two high profile businesses to its enormous Flagstone Logistics Estate, at North Maclean.
In the biggest deal, Bunnings – a long-time tenant client – has leased a complex with a 40,200 square metre warehouse and 800 sqm of offices.
Dats meanwhile, a significant wholesaler to the retail sector, has signed up for an 18,550 sqm space – 550 sqm of which will be offices.
Despite being suburban Sydney based, the North Maclean area will service the company’s national distribution network.
Charter Hall fills 12pc of site
Combined, the Bunnings and Dats warehouses will occupy 12 hectares of the 100ha business park on Mount Lindesay Highway, construction of which began in mid-2023.
Both properties are targeting a 5-star Green Star Design & As Built rating, featuring, amongst other initiatives, EV chargers, LED lighting with daylight harvesting in the warehouses and solar rainwater tanks for irrigation.
Completion is scheduled before next July.
“This location is considered a Priority Development Area by the Queensland government with planned infrastructure and government investment set to grow the region over the next 10 years,” a Charter Hall spokesperson said.
North Maclean is about 40 kilometres south of the CBD.
