Brunswick West house recently offered by Kangaroos Captain Jack Ziebell for rent

The renovated Brunswick West home offloaded by North Melbourne Football Club Captain Jack Ziebell last month has become a rental.

The split-level family home with four bedrooms is asking $850 a week.

Ziebell accepted a pre-auction offer of $1.27 million for 1 Egginton Street in early June. It hit the market a month earlier with a price guide between $1.05 million and $1.15 million.

The house sits on a large block by inner city standards – 647 square metres – and is appointed with mod cons like central heating and evaporative cooling.

Ziebell reportedly lived in Egginton Street with ex-team-mate, Dan Currie, who was traded with the Gold Coast Football Club in 2015.

The sportsman, who it was announced would take over as Captain for the Kangaroos late last year, has recently relocated to a larger home in Maribyrnong – not far from Brunswick West.

Nelson Alexander Kew’s Tayla Hewitt is leasing 1 Egginton Street.
