Award winning South Yarra Home for sale
Australia’s House of the Year in 1922 – 114 Caroline Street, South Yarra – is for sale asking more than $3.5 million.
On a relatively large plot for the area, the dwelling has reportedly been owned by fashion designer Adele Palmer, developer Michael Yates and restaurateur Paul Lynch.
The vendors are businessman Rudy Miklosvary and his wife Ilona who post-sale intend to spend more time travelling.
With three bedrooms and a study, the home was renovated by architect and former Stonnington mayor John Chandler.
It includes a gourmet kitchen recently voted by Kitchen Trends as one of best four in the world.
