Australian Unity sells dwellings around aged care home

Australian Unity has sold three dwellings either side of its Infinite Care – Southaven aged care complex, at Padstow Heights.
For the Healthcare Property Trust, the manager is banking $3.6m for 7-9 Queensbury Road, a 4523 square metre amalgamation overlooking and with potential direct access to Salt Pan Creek.
It is also reaping $1.7m for 18 Lorraine Avenue (pictured, top) – on 898 sqm – which isn’t waterfront.
Both prices exclude costs including agency fees and taxes.
The residential properties were included when AU paid $24.11m for the 141-bed Infinite Care – Southaven complex mid-2022.

The deals come seven months since we reported the same fund sold residential properties abutting Brunswick Private Hospital, in Melbourne’s north, like Padstow Heights, controlled for possible future expansion.
Also this week the manager is selling the Hunters Hill Private Hospital, in Sydney’s inner west, to April Group.
