AFL player lists Port Melbourne pad

Keilor born Rick Olarenshaw has lived in Bali since 2013 and now runs three F45 gyms.

Rick Olarenshaw, part of the ‘Baby Bombers’ Essendon team which won the 1993 AFL Grand Final then finished 10th on the ladder the following year, is offloading a Port Melbourne investment.

The one bedroom flat, 201A/86 Bay Street, within the Bayview building, is for private sale asking $440,000-$480,000.

Marshall White Bayside’s Matthew Pillios and Matthew Grima are representing the Keilor-born sportsman, who paid $435,000 in 2010.

The dwelling includes 56 square metres of internal area and a balcony with city and beach glimpses. It also offers an undercover car park.

Bayview residents have access to a gym, swimming pool, spa and sauna (story continues below).

Mr Olarenshaw went on to play with Collingwood, then Melbourne, before retiring from AFL in 2001 and becoming a boundary reporter with Channel 7.

In 2013 he moved to Seminkyak, Indonesia, where he runs three F45 gyms and coaches Bali Geckos – the local Australian Rules team.

He is 47.

The apartment has a balcony overlooking Bay Street.
