The Fox Sports host’s new four-bedroom home includes a tennis court, swimming pool, outdoor entertainment area and established front and rear gardens.
Mr Healy will live just a few doors from Brighton’s best tour guide, Shane Warne, who has bought, sold – and profited – from a series of real estate transactions in and around the suburb. The spin king is believed to be renting in Kinane Street while building a home in Park Street.
Kay & Burton director Stewart Lopez and David Urquhart marketed Healy’s new property earlier this year. Both declined to comment when contacted by Secret Agent.
In the small street, which runs from the beach and Brighton bathing boxes to New Street, 14 homes have tennis courts, with at least another half dozen able to accommodate one. According to tennis court builder A.S. Lodge, a court – with adequate running room around the boundary lines – will occupy about 550 square metres. Land values in Kinane Street, says buyers advocate David Morrell, are about $3300 per square metre. On these numbers, each court is worth an average $2 million, making for almost $30 million worth in the street.
