Cromwell retains another government occupier at Docklands
Cromwell has retained another major occupier at 700 Collins Street – Docklands’ first office, completed in 2004.
The federal government’s Bureau of Meteorology will stay on for c10,000 square metres for 10 years.
The landlord said it will continue to upgrade the building with a view to making it net zero by 2025.
In April we reported another key tenant – Metro Train Limited – also renewed at the building, in the precinct’s southern end near Spencer Street Station.
That state government arm committed to 10,500 sqm – the top four floors – until 2030.
The building rises 17 levels with 33,489 sqm.
Cromwell paid $133m for it new.
