Floor giant buys warehouse which was for lease
Carpet Call has bought a prominent north Adelaide warehouse recently being marketed for lease in pieces as the Inner North Distribution Centre.

The national floor retail giant is paying $22.5 million for the 2.91 hectare Green Fields holding, 400-416 Martins Road.
With 12,152 square metres in two buildings, including double storey offices, and surrounded by 4500 sqm of hardstand and 62 car parks, the improvement has full drive around truck access.
The warehouse, accessed via multiple on-grade doors, has a 7.5 metre clearance.
There is underground storage too.
Carpet Call will upsize from rented accommodation at Dry Creek.
“Vacant industrial sites with immediate occupation potential are highly sought after by owner-occupiers,” the Knight Frank marketing agents said.
This property is also near Port Wakefield Rd, the Northern Connector and Port River Expressway, they added.
The previous sale price was $8.75m in 2018.
Green Fields is 19 kilometres from the CBD.
