$20 Million Southern Star Observation Wheel Repair Start

A total of 21 cabins will be removed, as well as rim and spoke sections, which will be replaced with newer materials, the Herald Sun reports today.

ING Real Estate, owner of the Docklands Waterfront City precinct of which the Observation Wheel is the centrepiece, is relying on a warranty by Japanese designer and manufacturer Sanoyas Hishino Meisho, to undertake the repairs.

The Observation Wheel is expected to be operational after at least twelve months.
