Westbridge buys former Amcor plant
A former Amcor-owned printing facility in Melbourne’s south-east has changed hands.
Westbridge Funds Management paid $38.5 million for 7-31 Keys Road, commonly known as 15 Keys Rd (image, top), with settlement on August 31.
The deal was mooted in July.
Settlement occurred on August 31.
Centennial was the seller – it paid $27.45m for the 3.3ha Moorabbin holding in 2021.
Perth-based GM Property was that vendor paying $20.85m two years earlier.
Becton, via the Glenmont Industrial Trust, was also a former owner (continues below).
Keys Road Distribution Centre
The Keys Road asset , marketed as the Keys Road Distribution Centre, contains 17,660 square metres in several buildings.
Amcor previously sold the property, in 2003, for $9.2m with a leaseback.
It still occupies.
The deal follows Westbridge’s purchase of a 40 Scanlon Drive, Epping warehouse from Centuria and Morgan Stanley.
