Two more law firms commit to Waterfront Brisbane

Dexus has secured another couple of law firms to the first of two skyscrapers earmarked for the $2.5 billion Waterfront Brisbane at Eagle Street Pier.

Melbourne based Allens will take a larger tenancy – 4800 square metres – on levels 40 and 41.

Joining it will be DLA Piper which has committed to 2250 sqm of the 35th and 36th floor.

Following the deals, 52 per cent of the proposed 49 storey, 72,500 sqm North Tower is committed; other occupiers include Deloitte, Gadens and MinterEllison.

The second office, the South Tower, will contain c50,000 sqm across 43 levels (story continues below).

Retail, including a dining area at the historic Naldham House, and c9000 sqm of open space with a 280 metre long six metre wide promenade also forms part of Waterfront Brisbane, scheduled for completion in 2028.

“Leasing success at Waterfront Brisbane demonstrates the continued demand for high quality sustainable workplaces,” Dexus Office executive general manager, Andy Collins, said.

The asset, with the address 1 Eagle Street, is co-owned by Dexus and Dexus Wholesale Property Fund.
