Triumph spends $5.3m for HQ

Triumph Furniture has spent $5.3 million on an East Lidcombe showroom, warehouse and office which will dub as its headquarters.

It is the third time in four years that 12-14 Adderley Road has sold.

The last deal, in September 2019, was worth $3.25.

In June 2017, just before the last property peak, it traded for $3.525m.

On a 1132 square metre B6 Enterprise Corridor zoned block, 12-14 Adderley Road is within a bulky goods precinct.

The property contains a double storey building with 1132 sqm of lettable area.

There is also a basement car park (story continues below).

“As there is limited availability of freestanding buildings for sale, when they do come on the market, we are receiving strong interest from owner occupiers and investors,” CBRE’s Robert Dowdy, who marketed the property with Raj Chaudhary said.

Adidas, Bunnings, Costco, Harvey Norman and Fantastic Furniture occupy showrooms in the area, about 18 kilometres west of Sydney.

“The property is less than one kilometre to the M4 on/off ramp and within walking distance to Auburn and Lidcombe railway stations and bus stops,” Mr Dowdy added.

In June, Charter Hall paid Reading Property Group $90m for the Auburn Redyard entertainment complex and a vacant block of land in nearby Auburn.

That property is diagonally adjacent to a showroom Costco picked up for $30.5m to expand its established store.
