Ted Baillieu Visits Knight Frank for Anniversary

State opposition leader Ted Baillieu was guest of honour to celebrate Knight Frank’s 99th year at Collins Wales House (360 Collins St).

The property was once owned by the Baillieu empire.

The opposition leader and architect was a senior director at the agency then known as Baillieu Knight Frank between 1973-1998.

He was secretary between 1996-1998.

In 1908, W L Baillieu acquired the land which two years later made way for an office Knight Frank occupied.

When that building was replaced in 1979, the agency moved back in.

Today it is held by DB RREEF Wholesale Property Fund.
