Performance of Melbourne’s Southern Suburbs This Spring

THE performance of Melbourne’s southern suburb’s reflects the truism that the rich are getting richer.

Nine of the ten best performing suburbs had annual median house growth of more than 10 per cent, with the best performer, Toorak, increasing by an astounding 33.6 per cent. If you’re aspiring to get into the suburb, you’d better have found an extra $560,000 since last year – with the median house price now $2,230,500, almost double that of Melbourne’s second most expensive suburb, Brighton.

QLS Pays $9.15 Million for Dandenong Asset, Also Leases Factory

THIRD-party logistics sector group QLS has paid $9.15 million for two adjoining industrial facilities in central Dandenong, a major commercial hub once marketed as Melbourne’s “second city”.

QLS has purchased a 3.2 hectare site at Kitchen Road, which includes two buildings totalling 15,000 square metres.

At the moment, it will play landlord for the two assets which are leased, but the group will eventually move into the buildings.

Bosch to Move to New 14,000 Square Metre Dandenong Facility

BOSCH has leased a 14,000 square metre industrial facility, in the outer south-eastern suburb of Dandenong South.

The technology company will pre-commit to a new office and warehouse building on the corner of Abbotts Road, and Taylors Road at the M2 Industry Park, being developed by Melbourne private development company Pellicano.
