Cromwell Sells Hobart’s Village Cinema Complex For $15.9 Million

QUEENSLAND based Cromwell Group will sell Hobart’s Village Cinema Centre for $15.9 million.

The 5743 square metre centre, on a 6118 square metre block at 179 – 183 Collins Street is within the pocket of Hobart known as the Commonwealth Government precinct.

The Retirement Benefits Fund Board is a major tenant within an office component of the complex.

Cromwell Sells Only Western Australian Asset For $8.6 Million

CROMWELL Property group has sold its only West Australian asset.

The Coffee Source has paid $8.6 million for the Cannington property at 78 Mallard Way (pictured, right).

The asset includes a 12,438 square metres of warehouse, and land for expansion. It’s book value was $8.4 million, according to the AFR which reported the sale.

Private developer Les Smith with joint venture partner Macquarie Bank are selling the major 3140 square metre city block known between 1985 and 2005 as the Village City Centre, and occupied by the cinema as offices until mid-2008.
