Sterling Buntine sells Queensland aggregation
Cattle baron Sterling Buntine has sold the Tulmur aggregation, in central west Queensland, three months after it was listed.
Two local families are paying $20 million for the 74,660 freehold, 100 kilometres south west of Winton
All up with three yards, the property can accommodate 1500 cattle head.
There is also water access via dams and connections o the Diamentina River and Williams Creek systems.
JLL’s Geoff Warner and Chris Holgar with Rural Property’s Walter Cooper acted for Mr Buntine who is reweighing his extensive portfolio including assets in the Northern Territory and Western Australia.
The 581 kilometre Buntine Highway, between NT and WA, was named after his father, Noel.
