Sorrento’s Sisters. Pay Less Pay Cash

One well placed industry source told Secret Agent he is aware of several offers of more than $20 million made for the historically significant site, on 1.2 hectares fronting Sullivan Bay beach.

He believes the Shelmerdine family, which plan to build a home on the site to use as a weekender, offered to pay cash for The Sisters. He said this clinched the deal over higher offers which were on longer terms.

Secret Agent attempted to contact RT Edgar selling agent Ilze Moran to get to the bottom of the deal, but there was no reply.
