Shane Warne’s Middle Crescent Brighton Home on the Market
Shane and Simone paid $3.5 million for the Middle Crescent home in 2000, and were rumoured to have spent another $3.5 million renovating and extending to include, amongst other things, a gymnasium and home cinema. In typical Brighton fashion, the house comes standard with a tennis court, pool and manicured landscaped garden.
The spin bowler was said to have refused an $8 million offer on the house in February. One source said Shane was initially asking $12 million, but that this has since been revised to around $10 million.
A sale at this price would make it the second most expensive home for sale in Brighton, with Seacombe, the home of St Kilda President Rod Butters, asking around $15 million.
