School buys ex-noodle house

The strata property will be repurposed for adult education.

A retail property in a tightly held Asian hospitality precinct has sold to an adult education provider which plans to occupy.

Lots 6 and 7 at the Pacific Centre at 8 Lear Street, Sunnybank Hills, traded for $1.65 million.

The 156 square metre strata retail space across two lots is also exposed to Calaam Road, opposite Sunnybank Hills Shopping Centre.

It was offered vacant fit out for a restaurant; it previously traded as a noodle house.

Colliers’ Tony Wang represented the vendor, an Asia based private investor (continues below).

The Sunnybank Hills property previously traded as a noodle restaurant.

“The purchaser was drawn to the flexible layout, including dual front and rear access, as well as the potential to reposition the space for education-related use targeting students from surrounding residential catchments,” he said.

Sunnybank Hills is about 15 kilometres south of Brisbane’s CBD.
