Redevelopment of Hawthorn’s Former St Anne’s Angligcan Nursing Home, Begins

Little Project Developments, a development company affiliated with Toll Holdings managing director Paul Little, has started construction of the 4-level, 48-unit apartment complex at 33 Wattle Road.

LPD director Kevin Brixton said the developer is so confident in the luxury project, it is proceeding with construction, despite not having pre-sold a substantial number of the apartments beforehand.

Developers of many new projects typically wait for a minimum amount of apartment sales (usually more than 50 per cent of the total), before turning the soil.

Jeffrey Wilson & Co agent Aidan Twomey and Jeffrey Wilson are marketing apartments within 33W.

Mr Twomey said he expects construction to be complete by late next year. The apartments are larger than average in size and will include high end fixtures and fittings.

Two-bedroom apartments start from $900,000, while the 3-bedroom plus study penthouse, will set you back about $2.2 million.
