Only Australian Comme des Garçons for sale
The local outlet of Tokyo and Paris headquartered Comme des Garçons is for sale.
The two level strata space – half a heritage protected building at 13 Somerset Place – is asking $1.55 million – a yield of over five per cent.
With 148 square metres over two floors, the boutique has occupied since 2012.
The rental agreement carries fixed 3.5 per cent reviews, Cushman & Wakefield’s Anthony Kirwan, who is marketing 13 Somerset Place with Jeff Ha and Jack Cooper, said.
With options, the group can stay at least eight more years, he added.
Comme des Garçons also picks up outgoings (story continues below).
Longer term, according to Mr Kirwan, the upstairs and downstairs spaces could be split and let or sold.
“13 Somerset Pl is situated in a thriving Melbourne laneway in the heart of the prestigious retail core, parallel to Elizabeth Street and a block from Bourke Street Mall, adjacent to Little Bourke Street,” the agent said.
A seven-day retail location, occupiers in the immediate vicinity include Grand Hatters, Kathmandu and restaurants, Osteria Illaria, Tippo 00, Kirk’s Wine Bar and Plus 39, he added.
