Moree supermarket sold off-market

A freestanding Woolworths at Moree, a major agricultural centre with an established cotton growing industry, 630 kilometres north west of Sydney’s CBD, has sold off-market.

The $16.4 million result for 215 Balo Street reflects a circa five per cent yield, the marketing agents said.

The buyer is Victorian.

On 1.2 hectares, the complex was developed in about 2003, neighbouring a separately titled building, five stores containing 1045 sqm, not part of the deal.

Also today we are reporting a Woolworths backed shopping centre at Mount Gambier is trading for a speculated price over $24m (continues below).

The buyer and seller in that case were both Victorian.

Stonebridge’s Justin Dowers and Philip Gartland brokered both deals.
