Michael Clarke lists c$8 million Bondi Beach apartment

Michael Clarke paid $14.5 million for a Vaucluse family home in 2014.

Former Australian cricket captain Michael Clarke (pictured, right) has listed his Bondi Beach sub-penthouse.

Within the exclusive Cadigal block, the three-bedroom dwelling at 232 Campbell Parade is expected to sell for about $8 million.

The fourth-floor corner apartment includes an open plan living and dining room with a terrace.

A double lock-up garage is also on title.

Mr Clarke paid celebrity accountant Anthony Bell $6 million for the dwelling in 2009.

It was in this Bondi Beach apartment where Mr Clarke lived with former fiancé, model Lara Bingle, during their 2010 separation.

The cricketer now lives with his wife Kyly, in a Vaucluse home he bought for $8.5 million in 2014.

Mr Clarke has rented 13/232 Campbell Parade out, most recently, two months ago, for $4000 per week.

He has now appointed LJ Hooker Double Bay principal Bill Malouf and his son, David, to sell it.

The complex at 232 Campbell Parade, Bondi Beach.

“It will be popular because of its uniqueness – it gets a view of the whole of Bondi Beach,” Mr Malouf said in this realestate.com.au item.

“There’s not a lot of competitive stock out there so that will drive it…there’s very little for sale in Bondi Beach or the whole of the eastern suburbs”.

The agents are expecting interest from both downsizers and professional couples.

The home has unobstructed views over Bondi Beach.
The apartment includes two bathrooms.
