John Kirby Leases South Yarra Office

VILLAGE Roadshow deputy chairman and executive director John Kirby has fully leased a new three-level 895 square metre office building he developed opposite the Jam Factory shopping centre car park in South Yarra.

The biggest deal, for 535 square metres, was to marketing company Boiler Room Communications which will relocate from the former Trading Post headquarters in Port Melbourne, which sold to developers for $6 million on Christmas Eve.

The 32 Garden Street office deals were struck at rents of about $320 per square metre, per annum, according to Colliers International’s Peter Rajcevic and Ben Christie.
