Jenera pre-commits to Melbourne business park

The proposed Jenera tenancy.

Terre Property Partners has pre-committed major machine and fabricated component manufacturer Jenera to just over half its Kilsyth Connect Business Park.

For Jenkins Bros Engineering, the group has signed up for 9070 square metres – tenancies 1 and 2 of 40 Garden Street, Kilsyth.

The business will expand and consolidate; it is presently headquartered at 6 Ramage St in nearby Bayswater.

“Jenera’s decision to maintain its presence in the area by relocating to a new facility demonstrates the strength of Melbourne’s eastern manufacturing precinct,” JLL’s Harry Larwill, who brokered the deal with Stephen Adgemis and Cameron Stuckey, said.

“This strategic move highlights the region’s significance as it contributes to approximately 19 per cent of Melbourne’s total manufacturing output, reinforcing its position as a key industrial, hub” he added.

Following the deal, the agents have 9000 sqm of the estate to fill.

Kilsyth is about 32 kilometres from town.
