Interstate AFL club leases Docklands space
AFL club the Brisbane Lions has leased a prominent ground floor space at an A-grade office opposite Marvel Stadium’s southern entrance.
The 210 square metre tenancy at 737 Bourke Street will be used as the group’s Melbourne office for administration and engagement with Victorian members.
Also at the corner of Village St and Fishplate Lane, it includes a store selling merchandise too.
Charter Hall is the landlord; it paid $192 million for the 10 level, 18,589 sqm asset in 2019.
The Grollo family’s Equiset completed the building in 2008 (continues below).
The Brisbane Lions lease was one of three struck recently at the building – PCF Formwork rented 565 sqm while Cubewire rented 457 sqm.
Cushman & Wakefield and Knight Frank were the agents.
